Stig Neergaard
In the last few seasons the Dane had ups and downs, as he had as many surprising good numbers on the scoreboard as engine explosions. At the Main Event Neergaard was back to his old form and the John Smith tuned car was het most consistent of all Top Fuelers.

Adam Flamholc and team MMR Racing made a welcome come back to the FIA European drag racing championship at Santa Pod´s Main Event. Top Methanol Funny Car
A full field of 8 cars competed for the honours in Round One of the 2013 FIA Top Methanol Funny Car championship at Santa Pod. This included three cars from teams that have a history of racing in Pro Modified, and in the case of Adam Flamholc, still do.

Top Methanol Dragster
The first round of the 2013 FIA European Drag Racing championships was held on the new track surface at Santa Pod in England. It had shown great promise at Easter but this was to be it's first big test, with warm weather and sunshine to really aid the traction of the pro classes.

Pro Modified
Last year´s Main Event was surrounded by speculations and debating of a revelant but not so positive nature. The issue was the track quality. Bumps had developed over a few years and it had finally gotten to a point where the shorter wheelbase vehicles, including Pro Mod cars, was heavily affected. .

Pro Stock
The 2013 Main Event returned to its usual spot at the end of May. (it was later last year due to Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee celebrations). However the weather Gods didn’t seem to have read the memo, as Friday was a total wash out, losing all rounds of sportsman qualifying.

EDRS Nats 2013
EDRS Nationals Tierp Arena May 11th-12th 2013. This year EDRS started as last year, at Tierp Arena in Sweden. The spring arrived late this year, which was still noticeable with not that warmth you wish it should be. Many cars is also still left in the garages , waiting for the right parts. Despite a few hours rain and trackdrying on Sunday, the event was as good as it can be at the first race, and the track improved more and more during the weekend.
