Speedgroup acquired the NDRS Drag Racing Series and the SDL Swedish Drag Racing League in March 2011. On November 26th it was time to honor the award winners and European Sportsman Drag Racing at the prize giving banquet in Stockholm Sweden.

The Lindberg Bros have had two fantastic seasons among the elite in European drag racing. But nothing is so good, that it can’t get even better. It’s time for the New Generation to move on yet again..

We asked Speedgroup editor Robin Jackson to interview the 2011 NDRS Series Jr Dragster winner Joe Kellett who, together with his team and family has spend a lot of time away from their home base in the UK this race season.. and done it very successfully!

Pro Mod driver Mats Eriksson and his family business ME Racing Service is well known within the chassis building trade and among European Drag Racing teams. Now the Erikssons´s are on a mission to assist the Swedish steel manufacturer giant SSAB market their newest high strength tubing for racing, safety and sports applications..

For 2012 Vicci have put together a few great offers to the European teams that run in the Speedgroup administered series. Vicci and Speedgroup are in co-orperation for the third year and Vicci´s assistance to teams that wish to appear professionally can be very valuable..

US based Star Racing makes a valuable addition to the 2012 contingency program for all the bike classes that Speedgroup administer. The UEM bike classes of Pro Stock Bike, Super Twin Bike, Top Fuel Bikeandthe EDRS European Drag Racing Series classes Suoer Comp Bike, Super Gas Bike and Funny Bike!

The 24th Annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show was held December 1 - 3 rd at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Speedgroup was among the exhibitors for the third consecutive year.
