December 2011 and altough it feels like a lot has happened for Speedgroup the last year, we once again look ahead and see that next year, 2012, will be filled with yet again new features and developments in different areas of European Drag Racing..

EDRS 2012
Ever since the acquring of the well established sportsman series SDL and NDRS in March 2011, we have had weekly meetings within an 8 person strong NDRS work group to operate the series in co-operation with the teams and event organizers, but also to prepare for the next step - to create the EDRS European Drag Racing Series. All major track operators in Europe wil be part of this series, where we work with 8 car classes and 3 bike classes;

Comp Eliminator
Stock Superstock
Super Gas
Super Comp
Super Street
Jr Dragster

Super Pro ET
Funny Bike
Super Comp Bike / 8.50
Super Gas Bike / 9.50

In addition the two biggest championship classes FIA Pro Mod and UEM Super Twin Bike in series form for a  very limited number of non-championship events.

On December 23rd Speedgroup launch the preliminary EDRS Class Calendar at  www.speedgroup.eu , Eurodragster.com and via our associated network. In a few weeks the full regulations for the Series will follow.

We have assigned a Speedgroup class contact person for each of the classes included in teh EDRS Series which will be stated at the Speedgroup site and to whom you can direct any questions that regards  a specific class.

The FIA & UEM European Drag Racing Championship for 2012 is solid
