Race Weekend Report...
The Main Event
Once again The Main Event had everything a drag race fan could ask for – a perfect comeback and record speed for Swiss hero Urs Erbacher, two finals won on holeshots, drivers who saved their best run of the weekend for the moment they needed it most and, of course, Melanie Troxel, the American fan favourite who showed all her driving skills and put a 5.93-second ET on the scoreboard. But the (Rock)star of the show was Johan Lindberg. In eliminations the “New Generation” driver from Sweden never ran slower than 6.04 seconds to win his first FIA European Championship race in perfect style.

Extraordinary treat...
Melanie Troxel & Team R2B2
With the presence of Melanie Troxel and the R2B2 Racing Camaro, The Main Event even made headlines in the American drag race media. The team did a fine job tuning the Camaro in only its fourth run to an impressive 5.93 seconds, by far the quickest Pro Mod run ever achieved in Europe. “We felt very welcome and had a great time.
