Top Fuel Dragster
The winner takes it all. It’s always easy to say, ‘this was the best race ever’, but at least for the Top Fuel class (and not this class only) the Scandinavian Internationals was the best race ever seen in the FIA European Championship. A 3.97 seconds number one qualifying position, five 3.9’s in eliminations, a new European ET and speed record and not unimportant, close racing..

Pro Modified
The record large field of entrants at Tierp made the race directors preannounce an 8 car "B-ladder" in addition to the regular 16 car FIA Pro Modified field. Dutch Pro Modified
Although Holland doesn’t even have a permanent dragstrip, in the FIA European Pro Modified Championship the Dutch racers were always a force to be reckoned with. This season they seem to be better than ever before, as Marc Meihuizen won his first ever FIA race, David Vegter was in the final already once and Robert Joosten runs personal bests and advanced to the semi-finals in the last three races.

Åke Eliasson
Åke Eliasson is one of our most talented Top Doorslammer drivers this season lead s the points table of the EDRS European Drad Racing Series with one event remaining. Åke has been in darg racing since 1980th in different ways. At the time mostly on the streets with his souped-up Volvo. But in 1996 there was other more important things to take care of.
