Urban Johansson
At Tierp Arena Pro Modified driver Urban Johansson did what many dream about doing, beat Michael Gullqvist and consistently make 5 second passes and by that now own the record of Pro Modified ET 5.882 seconds!

Thomas Naatas
The Andersen Racing team have experienced a lot the last few seasons. Some successful years together with (now) retired Top Fuel pilot Andy Carter, being away from the European scene for a season competing in the US.. their co-operating with US driver Tommy Johnson Jr in 2011, was successful until unfortunate circumstances meant he was shut off from FIA dragracing for a period.

Kågered Racing
A new experience for circuit race drivers. Beside operating a Top Fuel Dragster team, Swedish racer Micke Kågered also owns a V8 Thunder Car (former Camaro Cup Series car). Mickes aim was not to drive the circuit racing car himself but to operate in two motorsports.

Karl Heinz Weikum from Germany was the winner in Pro Stock Bike at the Sweden Internationals at Tierp Arena June 13th-16th 2013. We let German based editor Markus Münch spread some light about Weikum, who is yet unknown to a bigger audience. And we also let Karl-Heinz introduce himself.

Top Fuel Dragster
It wasn’t the question if Thomas Nataas and the Andersen Racing team would win a race this season, but when. Well in their second outing of 2013, the Sweden Internationals at the great Tierp Arena track, Nataas and the Per and Karsten Andersen tuned car did it and took the win.

Top Methanol Funny Car
Seven cars entered Round Two of the 2013 FIA Top Methanol Funny Car championship, held at the amazing Tierp dragstrip. This included four cars from round one and three newcomers to 2013 competition. Notable was the debut of Johnny Oksa, driving the car of his late father, Jarmo 'Japa' Kuutniemi.

Pro Modified
What an event! With great traction, new records and many spectators on site to enjoy the action. The track crew even won the battle over the weather, and despite a rainy start on the race day, eliminations could be completed in full and without running late.

Pro Stock
Before this event, the championship leader was Jimmy Ålund with 107 from Thomas Lindström on 86, Michael Malmgren on 59 and Micke Callin on 38. Jimmy set ET and speed records at the Main Event, and looked as though he could go faster still with his top secret Jason Line built engine. Thomas also has more pace in the car I am sure, and with good track conditions, we should see the battle escalate and the records fall.

EDRS Series...
Sweden Internats EDRS
Despite very fine weather before the event, the race was limited to three racing days because rain-out on Thursday. Yet, three qualification rounds were completed on Friday and all eliminations less semifinals and finals was performed on Saturday, since the weather forecast before Sunday didn´t look so good.

Summer Nats EDRS
The 7th to 9th of June 2013 Norwegian Dragracing Gardermoen arrange the 1st round of the EDRS series at Gardermoen Raceway. Before the season Norway has adjusted the rules in both car and bike to fit the EDRS class rules. Then you can attend in both EDRS and the Norwegian Championship at the same time.
