In the spotlight...
Antti Horto
Antti Horto was last year’s biggest Top Fuel surprise and although the young Finn only did four of the six races, he was the number four in the championship! This season the 29-year old from Kotka won the Main Event, is the number two in the championship and is looking forward to his home race at Alastaro were he wants to add a second Top Fuel win to his list.

Johnny Oksa
Without any drag racing experience at all, Johnny Oksa jumped into Top Methanol Funny Car, one of the most difficult classes of the sport. “The first time I hit the throttle it was a bit scary, but after the second run I was hooked. I love it, this is what I want”, says the 28-year old Johnny from Turku Finland at Tierp Arena, where he had his first race, a FIA European Championship race. Not bad to start with.

FHRA Nitro Nationals
This event held in the "country of the thousand lakes", is included in the FIA & UEM European Drag Racing Championship. It is round #3 for both the FIA car teams and UEM Drag Bike teams. The event is also included in the EDRS European Drag Racing Series for the classes stated.

EDRS Series...
EDRS Report Drachten
The Quartermile Nationals, the first round of the Dutch Open Drag Racing Championship and included in the EDRS European Drag Racing Series (Division South), had to deal with bad weather conditions. Thanks to the hard working trackcrew, it was still possible to race Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon and to complete qualifying.

Tom van der Wijden Super Pro ET
Tom van der Wijden is one of those dedicated Dutch dragracers who wants to race as many times as possible, break personal bests and win races and championships. Last year Van der Wijden was the first EDRS European Drag Racing Series champion Division South in Super Pro ET and will do everything he can to win this title again this season.
