Newsletter #7 2013

This edition is a bit briefer than usual and is published as a preview for the next FIA and FIM Europe Championship event: the FHRA Nitro Nationals run at the Alastaro track in Finland July 4-7th.

We have included a general event preview, which also include comments class by class for the FIA Championship. Check the event entry list and the opportunities on offer on how to follow the event during the forthcoming weekend as it happens.

We also feature two Finnish drivers, who will appear  and perform at Alastaro; Antti Horto - Top Fuel Dragster and Johnny Oksa, Top Methanol Funny Car. And we have also included two feature articles about the EDRS driver Tom van der Wijden from the Netherlands, active in EDRS division South and Tomas Jonsson, the most frequent racer in EDRS division Central, where he competes in Super Gas Bike. Editor Remco Scheelings also sent a race report from the recent event at Drachten, the Netherlands.

Will be published in due time after the FHRA Nitro Nationals. As always there are many stories to be told, we aim to bring you a variety.. and should you ever have someone or something on your wish list you would like us to feature in a forthcoming edition, don´t  hesitate to email me. If we can make it happen, we will..

Sweden this time of year is simply beautiul, as I am sure it will also be in Finland. The ferry trip between the two countries cross the most beautiful archipelago in the world and we might just bring a few photos from it into a forthcoming edition. I hope you too will find time to enjoy the summer wherever you are in the geography.
