Pro Stock Preview
With an all rained out elimination at Mantorp Park there wasn’t any major upsets in the Championship points, since the contestants only walked away with some points scored in qualification.

As a consequence Michael Malmgren comes to the Nitrolympx with a pretty good margin, followed by Main Event winner Michael Callin, Jan Palmqvist and Richard Sundblom who are a bit closer together in points. 2009 champion Jimmy Ålund got his normal car back for Mantorp and hoped to gain a lot after qualifying on top with superior performance. But with no eliminations being run he remained down in the middle at a seventh place.

A man who on the other hand must have grateful for the rain is Michael Callin who ended up on number 11 spot and last in qualification, leaving him all out of the elimination. Since the elimination was never run he didn’t fall behind by that much in points and remained in number two position in the championship.

For Hockenheim home country driver, Harald Sturhan will be back in competition again after being absent in Mantorp. Harald is the only driver in the Pro Stock class being from outside Scandinavia and his presence is much needed at his home country event in Germany.

There will be some interesting topics for Hockenheim. Will Jimmy Ålund start catching up fast enough to be a get to some of the top positions for the season? Will Michael Malmgren hold the competitors of moving towards a championship and will Michael Callin get back in shape again after the meager results in Sweden?
