Petri Paljakka set a personal record of 6.568 and was very happy indeed. He says "The
bike is just going and going and it is feeling great". He also said he is till learning and
getting accustomed to the bike and that it is just wonderful for the time being.

Rene van den Berg, who looked good and ran consistent all weekend thought the track was just beautiful and shared info that that the team changed the keybox after Finland and did some testing in England in addition. And that it was turning out well all could see for themselves. He also mention the bike has a quickest ET of 6.48 sec. some potential that is.. Rene ran in the 6.70´s as quickest at Gardermoen.

Peter Svensson BYE RUN 6.189 sec./341.23 km

René van den Berg 6.963/328.77 def. Petri Paljakka 18.99/268.53 -drive belt off for Paljakka right off the startline. Van den Berg very consistent and a nice pass ..again!

Rider´s comments after the semi-finals:

Peter Svensson said it´s sweet when everything holds together and work out according to plan. The team softened the setup and Peter commented it was best last run saturday. No plans for changes to the final

..on paper Svensson should not have a problem with van den Berg, but will that be so
for real as well?

Top Fuel Bike Final:
Peter Svensson 6.644/373.06 def. Rene van den Berg 6.761/339.03 - wow.. what a final run that was for Svensson! - he smoked the tires big time early and managed to go on and off
the throttle and get back on top of it all. Great job! At the finish line the time difference was 86/1000 . Great weekend for van den Berg as well who is consistent beyond belief and it earned him a well deserved runner-up position at Gardermoen this time.

Leaving Gardermoen with only one round remaining, the battle for the championship title is still on. Selkämaa in the lead with 190 points - 12 points ahead of Van den Berg and 41 points ahead of rookie Paljakka. Good potential for a trophy already this first season in the class for Paljakka.

Event winner Peter Svensson who has not been running at all events are behind in the points chase, currently ranked no 4 with 114 points.
