Jimmy Ålund - European Finals winner
Before the qualifications on Friday awaiting the rain to stop, some of the Pro Stock drivers gave their thougts on the weekend. Jan Palmqvist said he didn’t have the targets to win the championship, but were to make a full charge for winning the race. Jan also admitted he plans to sell his car and buy a 2009 Pontiac GXR for the 2011 season. Tommy Leindahl shared his new found inspiration and joy of running Pro Stock. He had some good baselines worked out by now and are now going into some fine tuning of the car, where minor changes get an impact on the cars performance, Tommy finds that very interesting and really made it fun to go racing. He expects some 6.7 second runs for the weekend. Jonas Dantanus is running his spare engine for the weekend and hopes to run some low 6.8 second runs, before putting that engine on sale. He also admits plans of buying a new car for 2011.

Dantanus launching
During the first round of qualification on Friday Jimmy Ålund took the number one spot running a 6.72. All the other driver got down the track in a decent way, and with time running out there was no more runs for that day.
Rain stayed away on Saturday and qualifications could continue as planned with the information that Jonas Dantanus did not have a valid pass. His run was disqualified for one of his crew members touching the car, causing a blue line offence. But this time things went right and Jonas got a place in the field with a 5.96. No dramatic changes occurred, but worth notify was new Finnish driver Sampsa Palos posting a 5.83. Jimmy Ålund still holds number one.
