Dennis and Timo Habermann both have reputations for sharpness at the Christmas tree. At the Main Event, Dennis came out on top by beating Peter Schöfer in the first round on a holeshot and doing it again in the final against his brother, and reigning FIA European champion, Timo. For Dennis it was his first FIA European Championship win.

But it’s a fair bet, of course, that one or other of the German brothers will win again. Fred Hansen almost set a new European ET record at Santa Pod and showed great form. For sure the Norwegian wants to take his first win of the season at Alastaro. And Peter Schöfer, second in qualifying, will do everything he can to get his revenge after the holeshot loss to fellow German Dennis.
