As it looks right now, Dutchman René van den Berg has to race Main Event runner-up Kai Selkämaa and Petri Paljakka, the TFB newcomer who raced in Hungary but had to skip the Main Event. On his ex-Ian King Puma, the Finn has the proven power to win races.

Van den Berg will do everything he can to win at Alastaro and reduce the gap separating him from Hungary winner Selkämaa. Selkämaa is also currently in the points lead. The twist in the class can maybe come with Jaska Salakari who enters the UEM championship at Alastaro, not only Top Fuel Bike but Super Twin as well. As Salakari plans to run the remaning rounds of the championship he may well be a force to count with.
