So.. unfortunately the FIA Championship season started with an uncompleted event. Due to weather conditions, the qualifications could be completed but the eliminations had to be cancelled due to persistent rain over the area. On the positive side. Things were as we would have hoped for while the event lasted! The teams delivered high performance racing and the Santa Pod track crew, who knows there business did a phenomenal job just like they always do. So with just one event passed and many still to come I am sure we have a truly exciting race season ahead of us.
Our designated team of editors and photograpers will like the previous years bring you a documentation from the FIA Championship events through our Online Newsletters.
While Eurodragster.com is the number one news provider and report live from most Championship events, Speedgroups aim with our Online Newsletters is to package the events and and take a look class by class for the FIA European Drag Racing Championship. As for the EDRS European Drag Racing Series, with close to 20 competition classes and many events we can´t manage to cover each class in the same way (but it is still on my wish list for the coming years). However from all EDRS events we can manage, we will provide event reports and summaries as we continue the race season.
We also wish to highlight individual Drivers & other interesting profiles connected to the European Drag Racing scene, just like in the past. And also important, the suppliers and companies connected to the sport and anything else we think might interest our many readers.
We will do it to the extent we can manage, when publishing as frequently as we will over the nearest months.
So, check out the class by class reports and also take a look at what events are coming up!
