Driver profiles - Stefan Ernryd and Thomas Lindström
New roles in the R/T team
The Ernryd/Lindström trailer showed up at Tierp Arena and summer Nationals last weekend, and probably the most of us was thinking that Thomas was having a test & tune weekend. But that wasn’t the case!
In the driver’s seat we found Stefan Ernryd, the sponsor and team manager of Thomas Lindströms Pro Stock team and as a mentor we found no one else than Thomas himself, while Rolf Sulyok was crew chief and Tony Buskas was in charge of the chassis.

Stefan bought the Dodge Dart as a race ready bracket car from North Carolina 2006 and has had it in the garage for quite a while. He did some rounds at Kjula Raceway when he got it from USA but when he got in to the Team R/T there wasn’t any time. The thought about racing it has always been in Stefans mind.

With Thomas in the team, there is never a problem to realize dreams and ideas. So, said and done, they loaded the Dart into the R/T racing trailer and switched positions in the team and raced in the EDRS Super Street class during Summer nationals at Tierp Arena.

-    This was so fun, said Stefan. So maybe, if we find the funding for it, we do a two car team in the future. At least we are going to do so at the next race, Scandinavian Internationals at Tierp Arena. Then we´ll see what happens.

Stefan made his way to the semifinal this time and is after the Tierp event in 17th place in the EDRS Super Street division Central points table.

This was a good start of something new for Stefan. We are looking forward to see more of him behind the steering wheel. And maybe Thomas has to reconsider his racing career in the future?

where Christer Gustafsson took him out from further competition.
