EDRS European Drag Racing Series 2013
News for this season is that a few classes have been included and the implementation of a new international feature, EDRS International for teams travelling. A fun and challenging feature which make it possible to let teams from throughout Europe compete in the same points table and become "best in Europe" in their class.. 
EDRS Divisional this is the same like 2012

COUNT THE BEST 5 EVENTS - Points from the 5 best event counts in the EDRS points system - Two events out of the 5 counted can be run outside the home division.

DIVISION WINNERS & AWARDS - A division winner per class per will be decided. Top 3 per class in the division are awarded with trophies. Also a portion of a series prize fund and any class partners
funding in classes where applicable. Please note, Series and class partners funding are connected with membership in Speedgroup Drivers & Riders Club. Only members are eligible for payout. 

HOME DIVISION – The driver/rider choose a “home” division before the first race. It is done in the
Series and event entry system located online at www.dragracing.eu . The home division can be any
division of the drivers/choice.

EDRS International - NEW feature 2013!

Best four (4) EDRS events to be counted, where it is mandatory that minimum two (2) events are outside of the drivers home country.

• The base for the EDRS International series is the driver’s home country.

• Basic point calculation is identical with the points system used for the divisional series.

• Drivers without events in their home country need to participate in races in minimum two (2) different countries.

• Drivers will be included in the points calculation of this series after participating in one (1) event outside of the home country but will only be eligible to be counted in the final points standing after having participated in minimum two (2) events outside of the home country.

• Drivers in finishing positions 1-10 of the EDRS International series may use the corresponding number as start number in the EDRS Series the following year.

Classes included in EDRS International  are (depending on available events in more than one country): Competition Eliminator, Stock/Super Stock, Super Comp, Super Gas, Super Street, Super Pro ET,
Pro ET and Jr Dragster, Funny Bike, Super Street Bike, 8.50 Super Comp Bike , 9.50 Super Gas Bike and Jr Bike

The EDRS European Drag Racing Series guidelines is aimed as support for  teams, organizers and other parties involved in the series;

No secrets, all is transparent.. All parties can contribute with new content through the EDRS work group.
Published 1 time/year in April. Amendments published online at the EDRS website whenever needed.
