After two days of great qualification racing in as well the FIA & UEM Championship classes and the EDRS sportsman classes, the event came to a halt for a day and a half due to rain. After lunch Sunday (elimination day) the EDRS classes was cancelled but the organizer decided they were going to do whatever they could to get the championship racing going when the rain stopped. With a new late curfew at 10 pm having been granted by the local authorities the race eventually could start in the late afternoon.. and what a race it was.. With 8 classes to run the pace was fast between runs and both the track crew and teams showed how efficient an event at the highest European level can be run. The performance in all classes astonishing and in six of the eight classes new European records were set! Check the headline European Records or the class by class reports to find out who did what! The event was also a round in the Swedish Championship adiminstered by Speedgroup for the classes Junior Dragster, Stock Super Stock, Competition Eliminator and Pro Modified. Check www.dragracing-sm.se to look at the new points standings (only presented in swedish).

WWW.DRAGRACING.EU - report
In the new entry and results data system, we currently have 1017 drivers and riders entered in the system. Next organizer to open their event is HockenheimRing with the NitrOlympx. Swedish time keeping system- and software developer Nitroz co-operate with Speedgroup around the database entry system, which have proven to work well and make entry handling easier for as well the teams as the organizers. And anyone interested can check results, drivers, entry lists and more online at www.dragracing.eu anytime!
