Focusing on Communication - 3M Peltor
Speedgroup co-ordinator Åsa Kinnemar tells about the Speedgroup and 3M Peltor co-operation that have been developed since 2010.

- One unique feature we co-operate around is the guided pit tour concept, where the Peltor Light Com equipment makes it possible to communicate and perform tours also under noisy circumstances. The concept has been worked and tested out for one season 2011 at selected events to be evaluated before we develop it further. We have so far only recieved positive feedback to this unique idea, which have proven to add a lot of information and event experience value to the participants of our guided tours. At the moment we are searching for suitable guides that can assist us in guiding tours in Finland and Germany in the local language, says Åsa. We have good faith that we through our network will be able to find a few persons with the skills we need.

- 3M Peltor also provide hearing protection for many Drivers and Riders active in the European Championships and EDRS European Drag Racing Series. For instance we work through the Speedgroup Drivers & Riders Club to create awareness of 3M Peltor. And as there are a number of models and type of products to choose from Speedgroup is happy to advise teams and interact with the experts at 3M Peltor..

- In addition of courser ALL visitors to a live drag racing event need hearing protection, in form of ear plugs, ear defenders with or without radio or intercom. Speedgroup is happy to assist anyone visiting our Service Center at a Championship events as best as we can.

Speedgroup can advise and assist track operators, teams and officials in need of static hearing protection or intercom equipment. You are very welcome to contact co-ordinator Åsa Kinnemar for any further information about  the Speedgroup / 3M Peltor co-operation and the guided pit tour concept!
