Switzerland's Roland Bolleter steps up to Pro Mod

Roland Bolleter is the next Swiss drag racer stepping up to one of Europe's most popular classes, Pro Modified. With many seasons in his blue Competition Eliminator Mustang to his credit, the racer from Meilen, near Zürichsee, and his Rob`s Racing Team has bought the '99 Corvette which Roger Johansson campaigned in last year's FIA European Pro Modified Championship.

"It's a Tim McAmis-built car with a two-race-old Pat Musi 903ci nitrous engine," explains Roland. "We'll get some advice at the tracks from Roger. My crew from the Competition Eliminator Mustang will stay with me. We'll try to do a number of EDRS European Drag Racing Championship races, like the first two at Tierp Arena and Hockenheim. We hope to be at Santa Pod as well, but nothing has been planned yet. It's good to have another nitrous Pro Mod in the staging lanes."

Bolleter is a familiar face at Hockenheim and Santa Pod, having already raced his blue Comp Eliminator Mustang at those tracks many times.
