His
Pro Dutch Racing team took their time to look at all options, but now
the car is heading for the States to be repaired by Alan Pittman Race
Cars. When everything is ready, the team will travel to America too and
the Camaro will undergo an extensive test program.
After
three races Robert Joosten was the number four in the 2012 FIA European
Pro Modified Championship. With high expectations Pro Dutch Racing went
to Hockenheim for the start of the second part of the season. As
everybody knows right now, the German track was very slippery and the
Dutchman was the most important victim of it. In the burn out for the
first qualification run the Pro Dutch Racing Camaro went a bit sideways
and although Joosten lifted the throttle and tried to steer back into
the groove, the car slid to the other side of the track with the front
end into the wall. With the last two races within four weeks after
Hockenheim, the crash made an early end to Pro Dutch Racing’s 2012
season.
