Approximately 37,500 racing business people from all 50 states and 72 countries attended this year’s show to get up-to-date with the latest in racing technology courtesy of the 1000 motorsports companies introducing new lines in racing products, machining equipment, motorsport engineering solutions and more.

Speedgroup was among the exhibitors, on site to connect with suppliers to the European drag racing market and collegues of the trade from many countries worldwide. Michael Gullqvist and Stefan Petterson staffed the Speedgroup booth at this years edition, the 25th PRI Performance Racing Industry Trade Show. It was the last time this show was held in Orlando. For 2013 the show will be moved to Indianapolis and merged with the other US based trade show, called the IMIS. Other well known faces from the European based drag racing trade included The Leanders Bros, from the left Ulf and Jörgen (here with Jöran Persåker) who are also well known at the PRI with their Leanders Clutch brand. And just like usual they had some news to release. A brand new type 7" 4-disc that has been tested with great success in Randy Weatherfords Pro Nitrous car, and was on display at PRI.

BlockLiner by Turnited from Falun with Håkan Nordström as owner. He´s been attended with his component for V8 line boring operations that’s easily is mounted to a milling machine, for a few years now and a lots of the conectings has been made during the show.

Auto Verdi is a Swedish company that was on site for we don´t know what year in a row. They have been here since many years anyway. Stefan Verdi and Sten Skodborg with sales manager Jarmo Pulkinen are working mostly with Nascar racing teams but they have also come up with a new oil pump for Pro Mod that actually was present last year at PRI. The Auto Verdi Racing continues to develop reliable pumps for racing every year. And of course we have Jöran Persåker from contingency sponsor Persåkers Speedshop on site, that also provide us with photos this year. He have got some new partnerships as well. One of them is a Chinese manufacturers of heads, who he also was helping out in the booth. Jöran is probably going to have heads for display and provide the possibility for customers to place orders at Persåkers shop further on. Pro Mod operating and chassis building duo Mats and LG Eriksson had a great weekend at PRI Show together with SSAB. ME Racing Services was on site to promote the new SSAB hard strength steel tubes in the SSAB booth. And the interest is very big in US for the tubes which are now SFI cerified for use in drag racing. There are already orders placed. The week after the PRI show, Mats, LG and the SSAB staff transported themselves and the booth materials to the IMIS Show in Indianapolis.
Mats and LG took the oportunity to flank the only female in the booth, between all the talking and demonstatings about the Docol R serie of tubes from Swedish Steel.
