The only race included in the EDRS being a sprint kind of racing, where competitors run one at a time and the track include one lane. The event was suggested by the drivers themselves and it was also a test for the future.

The race track was in a fabulous condition, proved by among others, Terje Haakonsen in his Pro Mod car, who made almost as good 1/8 mile passes as at Tierp Arena , one week earlier. Maybe a result from the trackboss, Michael “Holger” Dueholm, who made the preparation at both tracks.

More than a hundred bikes and a dozen cars was participating in this really odd event with only one racing lane. Good racing, music and tasteful food and makes this event really exciting. Highly recommended and next year it´s time for their 20th annual jubilee celebration. Let´s see if we have more classes involved from the EDRS then.

Sven Fagan was no 1 qualifier with 4,800/243,24 km/h, followed by Marc Van Der Boer and Maarten Zijlstra , and this also the rankings after the finals.
