Leif Andréasson is in championship lead
Sunday eliminations was under threat not to come to action with rain falling on the track in the morning. Forecasts said it would stop by lunchtime... and it did. The Tierp Arena track crew wasted no time getting the track dry and ready to use again.

Micke Larsson from nearby city Gävle
First round put number one qualifier Leif Andreasson on a solo run with no number eight in the field. Tyre shakes made Leif cut of early and coast down the track, still with a win. Danny Bellio did what he was supposed to do and defeated Micke Larsson running 5,901 to Mickes shaking early shut of 12,122. Norways Arvid Grödem took a a solo run win over Jonas Staflund
who was leaving walk over after damaging his last motor. The most spectacular thing in the first round was the spectacular run of Jonnie Lindberg and Ulf Leanders. Bets were on Ulf who set a fast 5,60 qualifying while Jonnie struggled and didn't make a full run qualifying. It proved to be something else now. Ulf ran into shakes, had to lift and back on power again for a 6,198 an far behind Jonnie who ran away with incredible speed, setting a 5,593 and mind blowing 422 km/h topspeed... 5 km/h faster than Leif Andreasson's record 417 km/h. Now we got two european TMFC cars in the 5,5 sec zone, with Ulf Leanders being a fraction away to be there also.

Ulf Leanders hit the throttle
Semifinals was no repeat run for Jonnie tyre shakes and early shut of coasted to 10,332 while his opponent Arvid Grödem did his job running away on a 5,873 sending him to the final. Leif Andreasson also did his job in front of his home fans, his 5,609 didn't give Danny Bellio on 5,836 much of a chance this time.
Our expected final with Leif vs. Arvid never came of. Rain came back, and with no time to get the track dry before dark all finals were canceled.
The championship will be decided at Santa Pod Raceway, with Leif Andreasson as points leader
