NRE takes the next step - connect closer with European teams

Australian based NRE, Noonan Race Engineering, teamed up with Speedgroup by joining the contingency program from the start in 2010. NRE was already in co-operation with well-known Manton (rocker arms amd push rods) and JBR injectors, companies which also chose to start connecting more direct with the European teams via Speedgroup and reward customers in the winner circle through the contingency program.
Since then NRE staff have been very busy servicing customers on several continents and in different motorsports in addition to further developing the state-of-the art heads which they are known for.

John Noonan of NRE, Noonan Race Engineering, is happy to announce the official appointment of Pro Mod team Lindberg Bros. as their first European distributors for the NRE X1-Cylinder heads.

In addition Karling Racing Engines  will be NRE´s first appointed service and repair shop for European customers, saving them sending their heads to Australia or the USA.

Anders ‘Charley’ Karling finds the new co-operation with the Lindberg Bros and NRE very positive. He says "It´s great that someone in Europe engage as distributors for NRE and especially I like the fact that Jonnie Lindberg is young and represent the new generation in dragracing". Karling is impressed with NRE´s staff and the way they operate. "The NRE people are so easy to work with and I got all CNC files and documentation very quickly after we decided to team up. I will be able to repair and restore the NRE X1-cylinder heads in my workshop in Stockholm". Karling Racing Engines are since long established with customers in the UEM Drag Bike categories, both in Super Twin, Top Fuel Bike and  Pro Stock Bike.

The NRE/Lindberg co-operation around the NRE X1-cylinder heads will be new, but  Charley is already familiar with restoring and servicing parts for race cars and feel confident he will be able to do a good job servicing NRE´s Euoropean customers.

Jonnie Lindberg, crew cheif and younger brother of European Pro Mod champion Johan Lindberg, will be handling sales and customer service.

Jonnie Lindberg and Charley Karling are naturally in close co-operation to cover any services NRE customers may need.

The NRE X1-cylinder heads will be on display in the Tierp Arena booth at the BILSPORT Performance & Custom Motor Show 22-25th of april in Jönköping Sweden. Team Lindberg will have the Pro Mod car and transporters on display as well (check their website for info).

NRE X1-heads are available for:
– Pro Modified
– Top Methanol Dragster
– Top Methanol Funny Car
– Nitro Injected A Dragsters

Lindberg Bros- will naturally be running the NRE X1-heads on their own car and says it will play an important part in the battle to defend the championship title.

Finally, NRE let us know they have just released their new NITRO A-FUEL head which is tested by Tom Conway in the USA, in conjunction with Noel Manton. We are sure we will have reason to get back with more information in a forthcoming edition.
