The SDL Swedish Dragracing League was acquired by Speedgroup in march 2011. The sportsman series have been run this season without any major changes, mainly in order for us to learn before making any developments. 11 events have been included in the series and included the tracks of Tierp Arena, Fällfors, Lindesberg, Västerås, Piteå, Borlänge and Kubbe (Örnsköldsvik). 328 drivers and riders have collected point in the SDL Swedish Dragracing League this season.

The last event included was the Linde Open held at the Lindesberg track august 13-14 and some of the SDL league winners and runners-up were on site. We let photographer Kjell Brelleman cover the event supervised by Speedgroup´s SDL and NDRS points co ordinator Carl-Erik Kihlman and present you the successful SDL winners teams that were on site. We will have reason to come back to the SDL series and development of it in a forthcoming edition. And we wil no doubt be back with interviews with some of the profiles that have been active in the SDL Swedish Dragracing League 2011.
